Integrates Myofascial, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular or Trigger Point Therapy, tense and relax stretches, and compression to facilitate relaxation and relieve tension in the deeper muscle layers. Myofascial Release, targets a specific area of the body and utilizes a gentle, slow technique to help melt, lengthen and define muscle and fascia. Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular and/or Trigger Point Therapy are also applied with slow, firm & concentrated pressure. This integrative approach helps to release, stress, relieve muscle tension, break up scar tissue, improve range of motion, exercise and stretch muscles, and reduce spasms and cramping.
Integrative Asian Bodywork
Acupressure, Shiatsu, and Tuina techniques, all rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, are combined with Thai Massage to promote healthy, balanced flow throughout the body. In this session, client wears loose-fitting clothing, no oil or lotion is used, and can be done on a table or on a mat placed on the floor. A combination of pressure, applied to points along the meridian pathways, and stretches are performed to release blocks in energy flow. While this type of massage promotes relaxation, most clients also feel rejuvenated after the session.
